Stranger Things Season 5 is announced with Episode 1 titled ‘The Crawl’
Netflix shares the first episode's title on November 6, Stranger Things day
Netflix‘s Stranger Things is a supernatural-horror drama series that has wooed its audience for the last 4 seasons that it has been running. As the series completes its 6 years on 6th November, aka Stranger Things day, the makers announce the title of the last and final season of one of the most loved shows. They posted a picture of the script’s cover on Instagram and Twitter which reads, “Chapter one: The Crawl” for Stranger Things Season 5.
Immense anticipation ahead of the Stranger Things Season 5
The first season aired on Netflix on 15th July 2016 and the announcement for the fifth and final season of the show was made in February 2022. There are many fan theories in the comments of the post, speculating the possibilities of the plot of the final series with the return of Vecna. The Duffer Brothers have not confirmed much but it has been made final that there will be a time jump from season 4 and this season will also be shorter than the previous one.
The entirety of the show’s ginormous fanbase has very mixed reactions and isn’t sure how to feel. They’re excited for the new episodes and to see what all new things the makers have to offer this time but are also crestfallen knowing that this is going to be the very last season and needless to say, nobody wants it to end.
The cast sees the return of Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Winona Ryder (Joyce), David Harbour (Officer Hopkins), Noah Schnapp (Will), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Sadie Sink (Max), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Maya Hawke (Robin), Joe Keery (Steve), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Cara Buono (Mrs. Wheeler), Priah Ferguson (Erica) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna). The rest of the cast isn’t yet officially announced but everyone expects to see new faces since there were many in season 4 as well.
The show has consistently garnered immense admiration from both, its viewers and the critics, thanks to the superb writing and an even better storyline, 80s pop culture references, extraordinary visuals, and the most brilliant cast selection who had the most wonderful performance deliveries.
Stranger Things Season 5 release date
There’s no official information regarding when season 5 will finally air but with the production still pending, we can expect it to be out earliest by 2024. Season 1 through 4 is available for streaming on Netflix.
