How to beat Lono in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
1. Use Cyclizar against Lono’s Mismagius
It will be highly advantageous for you to use Cyclizar against his Mismagius. You know that mismagius uses a ghost as well as electric-type attacks. So Cyclizar can use his special ability called levitate which is immune to ground-type attacks with no weakness. You can also use the taunt attack to prevent mismagius from using confuse ray. This will totally destroy Lono’s strategy.
2. Level your pokemon up to 26 or over
Since, Lono’s Pokémon are strong and can use their best and most powerful attacks, especially his mimagious. So, it is highly recommended to raise your Pokémon level upto 26 or higher. This will give you some advantage over the battle.
3. Terastallize at the start of the battle
Players terastallize their Pokémon ahead of the battle. As Lono’s Pokémon are of the electric type. You can select your ground Pokémon as electric attacks don’t work on ground Pokémon. So, there will be a great chance to wipe the battle as soon as possible.
