Continuing the trend this time, we got Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which gives us a whole new starter Pokémon choice. The 9th gen Pokémon is finally released with this new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet game. So we will have around 400 different Pokémon including the new Paldea region ones. In this article, we will list the best ground type Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet along with where to find them. Garchomp

Garchomp is a Pokémon that evolves from Gabite. He is a really good ground offensive unit. You can find garchomp in any of the Cave or Underground area of the game.

Hippowdon

Speed: 47

Hippodon can be found in the Asado desert area of the game. At level 34 he will evolve into Hippopotas which will make him even stronger. He has good attack and defense but slow in speed.

Donphan is a great ground unit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violate. He has a good base attack with a good defense. That makes him a good unit you can find in the Paldea region.

If you are searching for a good ground unit, look no further than great tusk. He can be obtained from the Great Crater of the Paldea area. He has a 10% chance to show up. But with his good offence and defence, he is going to be a must-use if you get him on the team.

Ting-Lu

Defense: 130
Special Attack: 50
Special Defense: 80
Speed: 45

Ting-Lu is a new dark/ground-type Pokémon you can get in the game. You can find this Pokémon in the Paldea reason. It has a good amount of defense so you can use it in any battle as long as it doesn’t go up against a too disadvantage type.
