Need for Speed Unbound: release date, Gameplay details, System requirements, and more

Need for Speed Unbound is the newest game in the NFS franchise from developers Electronic Arts and it is now officially revealed. New information about the upcoming game was revealed prior to the announcement as a Japanese site uploaded it even before the announcement from the developers. Till now, the game is confirmed for PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows PC. Need for Speed Unbound will most likely include the classic Need for Speed game modes such as Hot Pursuit, and Beat the Clock. It will also feature a new street racing challenge called The Grand in which players need to qualify weekly.

Need for Speed Unbound is also bringing several new customization tools to the game. Players can tune their cars more effectively with the new tools added to the game. A new graffiti feature is also being added for changing the aesthetic of the cars and merging the latest arts with the most realistic cars in Need for Speed Unbound. A new boost animation is also being added for the Nitrous speed in the game.

The new soundtrack of Need for Speed Unbound will feature hip-hop stars A$AP Rocky and AWGE. The original music was produced by French producer Brodinsky. The songs, which are closely related to various hip-hop expressions from around the world, represents the underground culture, which is also the heart of Need for Speed games.

Need for Speed Unbound is expected to release on December 2, 2022 as listed on its pre-order page. NFS Unbound is now available for pre-order from the official website on Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows PCs. However, at of writing the post, the actual platform specific pre-order pages were giving errors.

The game comes with 2 different editions – Standard Edition (for $69.99) and Palance Edition (for $79.99). Here are all the details of bonuses for the pre-order. Other than that, any edition of the pre-order will give the ability to get the game 3 days earlier (that means November 29, 2022) than the global release.

NFS Unbound is also going to be a part of EA Play for a trial of 10 hours and is free for EA Play Pro members. So XBOX Game Pass Ultimate users will be able to try the game for 10 hours for free.
