Unite the Overworld and lead the battle against the Piglins
Mojang Studios has announced updates about their new action strategy game Minecraft Legends at Minecraft Live 22. Minecraft Live 2022 gave the fans a first look at the spinoff’s gameplay, a reveal of the four-player co-op, a release date for Minecraft Legends, and much other information. This article will discuss everything you need to know about Minecraft Legends, including its release date, platform availability, system requirements, pre-order details, and many more.
Protect the Overworld from the invading Piglin force
The adventure of Minecraft Legends will start in the Well of Fate; players will have to unite all the mobs in the Minecraft universe by waving the Banner of Courage to fight against the Piglin invasion and defend the Overworld from the Nether corruption. Players will be the commander of the mob army and command them into the battle against the evil Nether forces; they will also have to collect resources to build their base and defense from the Piglin attacks. There will be a lot of horse riding in Minecraft Legends, previously shown in the released trailer.
Minecraft Legends will introduce their first-ever mobs with voices, The Hosts (Foresight, Action, and Knowledge). The Hosts will be the voice of the Overworld who will warn the player about the Overworld’s battle against the Piglin forces and help the player during their adventure in the game.
Flame of Creation, Banner of Courage, and Lute are the three necessary tools in Minecraft Legends; Flame of Creation and Lute will spawn friendly mobs to fight against enemies or collect resources, and the Banner of Courage will gather the mobs together.
Minecraft Legends will introduce a massive amount of friendly and hostile mobs and include mobs from the original Minecraft. The Piglin force will be divided into hordes; each horde will have a unique appearance and attack style. Minecraft Legends will also add new and powerful golems to aid the player in his battle against the Piglin.
The most exciting part about the Minecraft Legends reveal at Minecraft Live 2022 was its four-player co-op mode. The fans were also shown gameplay footage of the online multiplayer mode in the game, along with information regarding the PvP multiplayer mode and matchmaking.
Minecraft Legends platform availability
This new edition of Minecraft will arrive on PC, new and old-gen Xbox, new and old-gen Play Station, and Nintendo Switch. There has been no mention of whether Minecraft Legends will arrive on mobile or not in the future.

Minecraft Legends: Release date and pre-order details
The exact release date of Minecraft Legends is yet to be announced by Mojang Studios. However, the game will be released in Spring 2023. Players can wishlist the game from Steam; the game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
