The playable character roster of Genshin Impact is expanding with every patch. On version 3.3, we saw the release of 2 brand new characters Wanderer and Faruzan as well as the release of Dendro Archon Nahida on 3.1. There are a total of 61 playable characters for you to choose from, but due to a lack of resources, building all of the characters is not possible for many. We will rate the character based on their category, there are 3 main types of roles available in Genshin Impact and they are…

1. Main DPS (They are the character who stays on the field for the longest time)
2. Sub DPS (They stay on the field for a small amount of time and Mostly have off-field damaging Capability)
3. Support (Character with buffing, Shielding, or Healing capabilities)

As for Rating, we will use the standard Tier system

• SS-Tier includes the strongest characters in the game who can outperform and defeat any opponent in any situation.
• S-Tier characters are not the strongest but can do a decent job against more vigorous opponents. They can be picked in the absence of any SS-Tier character.
• A-Tier characters are not that strong, but they can do a decent job in certain situations with the help of other elements.
• B-Tier includes characters who are a bit weak in the game.
• C-Tier includes the weakest characters of the game.

Ayaka

Kamisato Ayako is a main DPS character who thrives mainly in Freeze Teams. With the help of 4 piece Blizzard artifact and Hydro support, she can absolutely obliterate any content in the game. Aside from the Freeze team, her reverse melt team is also a viable option with the perfect setup.

Raiden Shogun

Nahida

The Raiden variation of the original National team is the current most used team in 3.3 Abyss Cycle. The Team utilizes the high off-field damage of Xiangling with the help of bennet and Xinqiu. Raiden works well on the team due to her ability to reduce the team’s energy requirements.

3. Bountiful Bloom Team
